Things You See a Men's Retreat

I spent Saturday at the men's retreat. It was a good time. Bruce Heffner was the speaker for the weekend. We talked about standing for the truth.

I thought the following pictures from the retreat were different. This first pic is of the 11th commandment, I think.

This sign kind of speaks for itself.
Believe it or not, these were brought along and used during the weekend.
I guess I should let you know that the bobbins in the pic above are used to tie flies for fly fishing.

I just had to show these pictures. My nephew is sooo darn cute. That sounds a little feminine I think. I guess I don't care . . . I am not going to change it. Tell me I am wrong!

Busy Week - I'll Post About Football

Football season is only four months away. The Tiger Football website has been updated with 2008 season schedule, etc. so I thought I would send you there for now. I will be posting more next week, I hope.

Me, You, Horton and the Who

I went with a friend of mine to see "Horton Hears a Who" last night. I loved the book when I was a kid and really wanted to see this movie. Funny thing was we were the ONLY two in the theater. It was great! Our own theater. I have always wanted to talk, use my cell phone, comment on the movie, etc. when I go to a movie. Last night I had my chance. But I didn't. I am not sure why? But I didn't.

By the way, the movie was above average for a cartoon. Good but not great.
