Facing the Giants . . . Fireproof . . . ?

The people responsible for the movies Fireproof and Facing the Giants have decided to produce another movie! They will make an announcement about the project on November 15. Until then they are putting out videos giving clues about the latest movie. Below is what Provident Films says about the next film. Also, I have posted the first video clue.

From their first movie, Sherwood Pictures has been focused on more than entertaining moviegoers. Theirs is a true ministry endeavor. And each step along the way, they have seen the audiences grow and the impact enlarged.

After much prayer, creative brainstorming, more prayer, wise counsel, and still more prayer, Sherwood Pictures is ready to move ahead with their fourth motion picture.

On November 15, 2009 we will find out the movies title and its story line. Until then http://www.thenextsherwoodmovie.com

October Winterland

Woke up to a beautiful picture this morning at our hosts' house near
Clearfield, PA. I don't remember snow this early, but I am sure it has
happened. I love the snow and love how God uses it to paint the
landscape.

Making Plans for OCC

We are about a month and a half away from our tri to Charlotte, NC and

I love this pic of one of the Jr High football players. We picked, in
a fun way, on this kid all year about his "do"!

Coaching Teamwork!

Tonight is the last Jr. High football game of the year for us. It is bitter sweet. I have really enjoyed my time coaching the Jr. High kids over the last two years. They want to learn and are willing to "buy into the system". At the same time, I am ready for a break and look forward to the extra hours for myself (and my wife - whose been very supportive).

This year has been really fun as the coaches have really worked together well. Two of us are the "paid" coaches and the other three volunteer their time. We have worked hard to make sure everyone is equally involved in the coaching process and I really value their input. All have taken ownership of their respective areas of coaching which makes my job so much easier. I love the fact that they are bold enough to do what they think is right and humble enough to take someone else's opinion. They are a great bunch of guys and I appreciate them a lot.
