I love the Super Bowl for many reasons. This year my Colts are playing, making it more meaninful. But, for many people, the commercials are what they look forward too. Doritos again this year sponsored a contest for the best 30 second commercial. One of the finalists was submitted by a church. See the article here. Here is their video:
I liked that one but this finalist is my favorite:
I just wanted to add to the post by giving you a link to a few of the "best" (not necessarily according to me) commercials over the last 10 years and how they might be made differently today. Click here.

Drew Brees Talks About His Faith
I am an Indianapolis Colts fan and have been since when they were in Baltimore. I will be rooting for the Colts to win the Super Bowl this Sunday. However, I HAD to share this video with you because now I am a Drew Brees fan as well. I love the fact that whichever team
wins this week. We will most likely hear how much they praise and thank God for the accomplishment.

"To Save a Life" - "Big Grassroots Hit"!

I had a minute and thought I would check out some information about the "To Save a Life" movie on boxoffice.com. To my surprise, Phil Contrino is predicting a good weekend for the film! Let's pray he is right. Here is part of his article:
It will be interesting to see how To Save a Life holds up this weekend even though it probably won't end up in the top five. Flixster is reporting that post-opening activity and trailer views jumped a combined 633 percent for the faith-based flick. The IDP/Samuel Goldwyn release grabbed $1.5 million from only 441 locations last weekend, and it could become a big grassroots hit in the weeks to come.

Sand Art
I saw this guy live in Ocean City, Maryland a few weekends ago. He really had the audience engaged. Very talented.

Noon Nonsense: Fish Skeletons and a Movie

Last night I took our youth group to see "To Save a Life" movie. While I am sure many kids got popcorn and other snacks to watch the movie, I am not sure many would eat some of these unusual movie snacks from around the world.
