A Night With the Senators

Thanks to Jeff Fawver, we were able to score 12 $9 tickets to the
Harrisburg Senators game for FREE! He said he just wanted to give to
the kids so the could enjoy doing stuff together like he did when he
was in the youth group. Everyone seems to be haing a good time.

A Day At Workcamp!

On Tuesday I took a half day off and visited my wife at the Group Workcamp in Clearfield, PA.  She is the Emcee for the week.  While there, I got the opportunity to go with Harry, a "Site Coach", to check in with a couple of the crews.  This pic is from one of the biggest jobs for the week.  I met a lot of great people and got to watch Jana do what she was created for - speak and teach!   Keep up the good work!

Soccer Camp Begins

The RMC soccer camp began tonight with 125 kids plus a bunch at Bible
School at the church. Those in charch do a great job of teaching
soccer and sharing Christ!

Do You Say "UM"?

I had a great time filling in for my wife, Jana, on her radio show, Get Real with Dave & Jana the past two Sunday evenings.  I had a lot of fun, but, I wouldn't say I have a career in radio anywhere in my future.  As a matter of fact, after the first week, the producer, after some prompting to give some advice, mentioned that I say "um" a lot.  This wasn't a surprise to me.  I do have that problem.  However, I wanted to do the best job I could, so Dave, Jana's co-host, came up with a little incentive for me to be more careful.  And they need your help as well.  You will need to listen to the show to find out what the incentive is and how you can help!  Here is a link to the mp3 of the show.  Or, better yet, go to iTunes and subscribe to the podcast!  Also, you should check out their fan page on Facebook.
