Makenzie McDonald, right, third place winner at the State Games of America.The secretary here at the church was buzzing a couple of weeks ago. Her eight year old granddaughter, Makenzie McDonald, has been taking gymnastic lessons for a few years and been doing well. So well, in fact, that she qualified for a national event, The State Games of America, at the Air Force Academy in Colorado. Makenzie did very well and came home from the meet with four total medals. She won a second in the vault, and thirds in the floor and bars. She also received a third place medal in all around.
Makenzie has spent time here in the office and is a personable young girl. We here in the office are very proud her and I know that her grandparents are as well. Congratulations Makenzie!
