I thought this was interesting . . . Last night while at a local high school I walked by the band room. They were taking a break in their camp schedule. Music I recognized was playing. . . by the Beach Boys.
Not more than a few steps later I walked into the football locker room . . . Music? ? ? that I semi-recognized was playing . . . by Nirvana.
Interesting. . .

Beach Boys or Nirvana? Talk about variety, though maybe not taste.
I feel very old because when I was in school all we heard anywhere in school was John Denver!

Both made music that stand the ultimate test: the test of time.
The Beach Boys on July 4 in Atlantic City 1983 (when James Watt and Ronald Reagan banned them from the mall in DC)was one of the best concerts I have ever seen!
